    This service confirms the rate of duty that will apply to goods you plan to import.
  • Advance Rulings under Free Trade Agreements
    Applies to: All of Canada
    Know in advance if the products you want to import qualify for free trade tariffs.
  • Free and Secure Trade (FAST)
    Applies to: All of Canada
    Get pre-approved to move low-risk goods faster through the Canada-U.S. border.
  • Partners in Protection (PIP)
    Applies to: All of Canada
    Help secure your supply chain and improve the flow of your goods at the border.
  • CANPASS
    Applies to: All of Canada
    Allows you to pass quickly through Canadian customs at major Canadian airports.
  • NEXUS
    Applies to: All of Canada
    This card helps you get through the Canadian and U.S. customs line faster.
  • Canadian Society of Customs Brokers (CSCB)
    Customs brokers can help you clear shipments of imported goods by preparing the required customs documentation and interacting with the Canada Border Services Agency on your behalf. Courses are also available.

International Trade Agreements

Trade agreements help to eliminate or reduce tariffs on Canadian exports, which can increase your competitiveness in foreign markets.

Canada has free trade agreements with the United States, Mexico, Chile, Israel, Costa Rica, Peru, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.

Agreements with other countries are being negotiated to help improve your access to more global markets.
