You may be able to receive income and entrepreneurial support if you are unemployed and want to start your own business. You may be eligible, if:

• You claimed employment insurance benefits or your employment insurance benefit period ended in the past three years
• You claimed employment insurance maternity or paternity benefits and received benefits in the past five years, and are re-joining the work force after having left it to care for a newborn or newly adopted children
