Hire someone on income security or employment insurance to qualify for this wage subsidy.

The subsidy covers a portion of the recruit's wages and can also cover the cost related to coaching for that person, under certain conditions. The subsidy is awarded for a period ranging from 30 to 52 weeks and up to 60 weeks, if the person hired has a disability.

For social economy enterprises, the duration is 52 weeks and it may be renewed at a decreasing rate.
