Women’s Enterprise Initiative Loan Program

Government of Canada - Western Economic Diversification Canada

Applies to: Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, British Columbia

Are you a woman living in Western Canada who is looking for financing to start a business? Do you want to grow your business or buy a business?

This initiative could provide you with a loan of up to $150,000. It can also provide advisory services, business training and networking opportunities with other businesswomen.

You need to have a viable business plan, and your business must be a legal entity that is 50% or more owned or controlled by a woman. Other conditions apply.
