NUANS Name Search

The NUANS name search allows you to compare a proposed business name to those of existing corporations and trade-marks.

A NUANS report is required to incorporate your business federally under a word name. The cost of a NUANS report is $20 + HST.

Currently, the province of Quebec does not provide data to NUANS. If you are doing, or intend to do business in the Province of Quebec, you should search Quebec's Enterprise Register, Quebec's database of corporations.
