Strategic Aerospace and Defence Initiative (SADI)

Applies to: All of Canada

If you are a Canadian corporation doing research and development (R&D) in the aerospace, defence, space or security industries, you can receive funding for up to 30% of the cost of your project. You must have:

• enough money to cover business expenses
• experience in management
• a good business plan
• an experienced technical team to do the R&D
• a product that is new or improved technology
• a product or service that can be marketed and can create partnerships

You must repay this loan over a period of no more than 15 years.
