Short Film Venture Program

Government of New Brunswick - New Brunswick Film

Applies to: New Brunswick

Want to get noticed in the filmmaking industry? Submit your idea for a short film and you could get a grant that covers 25% of the cost of making your film, up to a maximum of $5,000. You could also get a chance to train with New Brunswick professionals. The film should be:

Fictional, but may include some comedy, animation or docudrama
No more than 10 minutes long
Shot on film or digital video
Appropriate for most viewers
English or French

Other conditions apply. Proposals are due by May 31 each year.
