Nova Scotia Energy Training Program

Your small or medium-sized energy-sector business can apply for a wage subsidy to hire a post-secondary student or recent graduate trained in the energy industry. The program runs each year from May through August and provides 50% of student salaries up to a maximum of $7.50 per hour.

You will need to offer a full-time position related to the student's field of study and pay at least the minimum wage for an 8 to 17 week work term.

The current application deadline is April 13, 2012.
