Workers’ Compensation Board

Applies to: Alberta

You may receive funding when you hire an employee who was injured on the job and who is unable to perform previous duties.

You could get:

A subsidy to provide training and work experience when you hire previously-injured workers
Part of the cost covered by Workers' Compensation Board
Liability for claim costs removed, if the trainee is injured during the training process
