Alberta Women Entrepreneurs NextStep Program for Aboriginal Women

Alberta Women Entrepreneurs

Applies to: Alberta

Are you an Aboriginal woman in Alberta who owns a business or who would like to start one?

This program can help you by:

  • providing you with a loan of up to $10,000
  • sharing experience and knowledge through mentoring and coaching
    • creating a strong business plan
    • building a network of resources
  • providing access to learning opportunities related to owning and managing your business
    • business skills training
    • workshops
    • tradeshows and conferences

To be eligible, you must:

  • be an Aboriginal woman who owns and controls at least 50% of the business
  • have your residence and business located in Alberta
  • be 18 years or older
  • have a strong idea and personal commitment
