Specialized Labour Tax Credit

You may be able to offer specialized workers an incentive to come work for you in PEI. If your business qualifies, the employees can get a 17% rebate on their personal income tax.

Your business should be in:

Aerospace
Bio-science
Export-focused manufacturing and processing
Financial services
Interactive, information and communications technology
Renewable energy

You must demonstrate that the position could not be filled with an individual from the existing PEI labour pool.
