Emerging Technology Program (Northern Ontario)

Government of Ontario - Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation

Applies to: Ontario

You could receive a grant or a loan to research and develop new technology, if you run an incorporated business in Northern Ontario.

Eligible projects include:

Information and communications technology
Film development and production
Biotechnology and life sciences
Other R&D projects with high potential for commercialization

The maximum amount of a grant is 50% of eligible costs, up to:

$100,000 for an R&D project
$1,000,000 for a manufacturing project

Other conditions apply.
