Northern Ontario Young Entrepreneur

Government of Ontario - Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation

Applies to: Ontario

If you are 18 to 29 years old and plan to start a business in Northern Ontario, you can apply for a grant to fund up to 85% of your start-up costs, to a maximum of $25,000.

You may be eligible if you:

Live in Northern Ontario
Can make a cash investment equal to 10% of the funding
Will operate your business full-time, creating at least one new job
Propose a business that is not an extension of a similar business owned by you, your family, or relatives
