Application for WorkSafeNB Coverage

Applies to: New Brunswick

If you are an employer having three or more workers, you must register for workers' compensation insurance with WorkSafeNB. If you have fewer than three workers, coverage may be requested on a voluntary basis.

Workers may be full-time, part-time, casual or non-registered contractors, subcontractors or brokers. Exception: An employer in the fishing industry must register for mandatory coverage when twenty-five or more workers are employed.
