Small and Medium Industrial Program

Government of New Brunswick - Efficiency NB

Applies to: New Brunswick

If your small or medium-sized business uses at least 50 % of its energy consumption on manufacturing and has a peak average monthly energy consumption of less than two megawatts, you may be eligible for financing.

Incentives provided in three steps:

initial phase: 50 % of the study costs to identify energy savings - maximum of $3,000
2nd phase: 50 % of the costs to complete a detailed feasibility study - maximum $10,000. (You may do this up to three times, to a maximum of $30,000)
implementation phase: $10 per gigajoule of energy saved - maximum of $50,000
