If you are starting (or already own) an agricultural business in rural Nova Scotia, you can apply for a fixed interest rate loan to purchase land or a farm, or expand or diversify your existing business.

To be eligible, you should:

Be able to pay off the loan with interest
Be able to withstand interest fluctuations
Complete a risk assessment
Have a good business plan

Your experience, education, collateral and character will all be given consideration when you apply.
