Yukon Biosecurity Risk Prevention and Mitigation Initiative

This funding helps your business design and implement systems and programs that prevent and control risks to plant and animal health. Between 50% and 75% of eligible project costs will be covered to help you:

Analyze biosecurity concerns, as well as livestock and game farm animal health
Monitor, prevent and control plants and animal diseases, such as chronic wasting disease and the spread of invasive species
Address biosecurity issues at the harvest, storage, production and processing level
Communicate plant and animal health information, and more
