This development fund can help your business obtain financing at the start-up, growth, succession or turnaround phase. Funding is granted as equity or quasi-equity investments and is intended mainly for businesses in the regions.
The Fonds-Soutien component provides a maximum investment of $250,000 per business. The funds are set up under the stewardship of regional conferences of elected officials (CRÉ). For each dollar invested, the government contributes two dollars.
The FIER-Régions component provides a maximum financial support of $750,000 per business for funds of less than $15,000,000 and up to 1,000,000 for funds of $15,000,000 and more.
