If you are a person with a disability, you could receive financial assistance for training to start a business and for living expenses while you learn.

If you are a person with a disability, you could get funding for training to start a business.

As an individual, you should:

Have a permanent physical or mental disability
Be unemployed or work less than 20 hours a week
Be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant
Be unable to receive benefits

If you're an employer, you could get a wage subsidy to hire someone with a disability. Before proceeding with the project, you are required to get approval.

Funding may not be available in all regions.
