As a newly licensed Prince Edward Island lobster fisherman, you can apply for mentoring and financial support.
The financial support is in the form of interest relief on loans related to obtaining a lobster enterprise. The maximum contribution you could get is $3,000 each year, over a three-year period. You could also be eligible to receive $1,000 to be used for training.
To apply, you must have purchased a Class A lobster licence after January 2009.
