Government Services for Entrepreneurs
Applies to: Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island
You want to start exporting, but don't quite know where to begin. Why not hire a graduate with training in international trade to lend you a helping hand? This wage subsidy program makes it possible. It provides 75% of salary and benefit costs (to a maximum of $25,000) when you hire an international trade specialist graduating from an Atlantic Canadian college or university.
To qualify, you must show that your company can create and implement a successful international export strategy. Hiring an intern, a great step forward! Contact your nearest ACOA regional office to apply.
