Are you a Canadian producer going through financial hardships? If so, help is readily available. You could get up to 50% of the average market price of your stored crops or unsold livestock. The limit on cash advances is $400,000 — the first $100,000 of which is interest-free.
You need to repay your cash advance as your products are sold and you need to repay the total amount within 18 months. These cash advances are delivered by industry associations, marketing boards and co-operatives in the agricultural sector.
